The Search Committee and the Vestry of Saint James are pleased to announce that we have a new full time Rector.  Father Craig Hacker, and his wife Linda, come to us from Essex, NY, in the North Country.  After service in the US Army for 20 years, Craig retired as a Major in the Medical Service.  He then spent 10 years or so in the private sector before being called to the Priesthood.  Father Craig received his Master of Divinity in 2002, and was ordained in 2003.  He has served as a Supply Priest, Priest in Charge, and most recently as Rector of Saint John’s Episcopal Church in Essex.

and to the community of Hammondsport, NY.
