St. James welcomed over 60 Hammondsport students and coaches on December 17th to an Athletes’ Dinner. Students excitedly entered the undercroft to enjoy a lasagna dinner and the hospitality offered by St. James. It is through the generosity of the congregation that we are able to open the church to teens in the community and share the love and joy of our faith community. The students were all very appreciative and well-mannered. We even had two former students volunteer to help with the dinner, Blake Wright and Danica Dresser. Many thanks to all those who donated supplies, set-up the dining room, prepped food, served food, cleaned up, and did dishes. It’s always fun to work together.
