Building on the success of the Athletes dinners, St. James hosted the 2nd annual Fine Arts Dinner, celebrating the Hammondsport Central students that are involved in the arts- band, chorus, drama, and art classes. The joy and energy was palpable with 41+ students enjoying fellowship, pizza, salad, soda and cupcakes. Amidst animated conversations there was even a spontaneous group competition finding Bible verses.

Many of the students lingered for several hours and seemed very comfortable gathering at St. James. Of note was the impressively polite behavior and how few were on their cell phones.
Many thanks to all who helped out by donating food, setting up, doing dishes and interacting with the students. (A special thank you to the Forenz's for the initial idea!)
