Church Rummage Sale

I want to give a huge Thank You to the people of St. James for all their help with our Yard/ Rummage Sale. Our wonderful church family always rises to the challenge of all that we undertake. People stepped up to donate items, to price items, to make bake goods, to work the sale, to box up the leftovers, and to deliver them to The Once and Again Shoppe in PY which is run by the PY Council of Churches. I may have chaired the sale, but the majority of the work was done by you-the congregation. Without you it would not have happened. Now we have $1, 082.25 for Mission which will be donated to the Potter’s Hand Foundation which is dedicated to providing a safe, secure environment for survivors of sex trafficking. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart! --Joan Rogerson

SATURDAY MAY 4

Come join us on May 4th at the Hammondsport ball fields to support our Pee Wee and Little Leaguers. The little children need a crowd of people to cheer them on to greatness. If you have a Saint James’ T shirt please wear it. It is a fun way to advertise our community of worship, service and fun! We still need a few people to work the concession stand between the hours of 2PM and 4PM. If you did not sign up on the signup roster in the undercroft. Do not worry, Just come and see! Do not be afraid. Everyone is welcomed to help us work the concession stand at any time. The more the merrier!

An elevator is available on the Main Street side entrance - see map.
Locations and details for upcoming meetings can be found on our FFF Calendar . Bring your musical instruments to participate in the 'joyful noise'. Currently there are guitars, keyboards, drums, flutes, bass, piano and maracas. A list of songs, choruses and hymns can also be found on our website. Hope you can join us for an hour (or two) of praise and worship singing, followed by refrshments and snacks, followed by more singing of your favorite requests.
